Neighborhood Association Meetings
The Desert Mallow Neighborhood currently holds meetings on the second Wednesday of every month at the Ward III Council Office. All meetings are public and open for anyone to attend. This includes all residents (present or past, and regardless of house accommodations), business owners, developers, students, property owners, &c.
All current residents are automatically members of the association and therefore may vote on certain matters that pertain to neighborhood improvement or Association governance. Other interested people may participate in meetings but are not considered voting members.
Voting matters typically involve Association fund allocation or the creation of committees, but also include things like who gets to run the Association by being on its council. Who you elect to represent you matters! (in more than just your neighborhood). Elections are held once a year in March.
